Engine 1 pictured in front of the remains of a second story fire in a victorian residence around 1916.  Without modern pumps and the use of airpacks it looks as if these early firefighters of the early motorized and horse drawn fire truck era made a good stop on this residence.  For this fire, Engine 1 was motorized, as seen, and Truck Co. 1 was pulled by a team of three horses.
